as of January 2009, We are thrilled to have two new
displays for 2009. First a juried selection
of “Route 66 Icons” by Upland photographer Steve Diffenbacher on
display. Steve and his wife have traveled Route 66 extensively
photographing the icons of the road. The second new exhibit is a
display of photos from the John Jensen Collection 1935 to 1937. John
worked at Casa del Desierto during those years. |

Stamp location for the Old Spanish Trail.

The
Route 66 Mother Road Museum is having a fundraiser
to
promote Route 66 and Barstow’s Route 66 Museum. All
of the proceeds will go towards establish new exhibits,
future activities, and continue to provide handouts
and information for the many international visitors
and travelers. A 9” and 11” metal sign will be available
for a small donation of $25.00 each. Click
